Recently, Shenzhen OxTium Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "OxTium Technology") and Peking University First Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "Peking University Hospital") officially reached a strategic cooperation. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration around "Construction and translational application of artificial intelligence models for cancer risk assessment based on multi-omics data", aiming to improve the accuracy of early cancer risk detection. They will build a high-quality cancer clinical research database, and combine cfRNA technology and the multi-omics large model GeneLLM™ to jointly promote the performance improvement of basic cancer research technologies and the implementation and translation of commercial products. This cooperation marks a further step for OxTium Technology towards the deep integration of bioscience and artificial intelligence, and also provides an innovative practical path for the industrial translation of basic cancer research.

According to the cooperation agreement, OxTium Technology will utilize its independently developed GeneLLM™ large model to integrate clinical research data on gastric cancer and colorectal cancer from Peking University Hospital. On one hand, it will optimize the cfRNA + AI research system to improve the accuracy and efficiency of cancer diagnosis. On the other hand, through the powerful omics data analysis and prediction capabilities of the GeneLLM™ large model, key cancer biomarkers will be identified from massive genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenetic data, helping doctors detect patients' cancer risk earlier and facilitating the development of personalized diagnosis and treatment plans for patients.
The core advantage of the GeneLLM™ large model lies in its lightweight design and specialized application capabilities in the bioscience field. It can not only be quickly deployed in research environments but also efficiently process multi-dimensional omics data, providing research institutions with an integrated intelligent solution. Its application scope includes not only basic cancer research but also extends to other life science research fields, covering multi-omics data types such as DNA, proteins, methylation, epigenetics, and metagenomics, and can be applied to complex disease areas including various chronic diseases, preterm birth, and neurological diseases. This capability of small-sample multi-omics multi-disease integrated analysis will support more comprehensive bioscience research. As a pre-trained large model, GeneLLM™ also possesses high flexibility and can be fine-tuned to meet specific technical development needs in the life sciences. This flexibility not only accelerates the research process but also promotes the industrialization of the technology, bringing more innovative and implementable AI bioinformatics computing solutions to the bioscience field.
Dr. Jin Yongcheng, founder and CEO of OxTium Technology, stated that going forward, OxTium Technology will continue to rely on the GeneLLM™ large model to drive technological innovation in the field of bioscience artificial intelligence, particularly achieving key technological breakthroughs in basic research areas such as medical diagnosis, disease treatment, biological breeding, biomanufacturing, and environmental monitoring.
About Peking University Hospital
Peking University Hospital is the earliest national hospital established in China, a large government-run comprehensive tertiary hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, and prevention. The hospital has complete disciplines, with comprehensive strength ranking among the top domestically and internationally first-class. The first-level discipline of clinical medicine has entered the national double first-class construction discipline scope. For hundreds of years, Peking University Hospital has adhered to patient needs as the guide, continuously optimizing medical services with technology and innovation, and leading high-quality development with new quality productivity. It currently has one National Clinical Research Center for Skin and Immune Diseases, one Key Laboratory of the National Health Commission, one Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, one Key Laboratory of the National Medical Products Administration, and five Beijing Key Laboratories. It is a national drug clinical trial institution, a national medical device clinical trial institution, and one of the first batch of Beijing research ward demonstration construction project units, with 34 drug clinical trial specialties and 26 medical device clinical trial specialties. Relying on the national high-level hospital clinical research and achievement transformation capability pilot project, it has built a biobank, research wards, interdisciplinary research platforms, big data AI platforms, etc., forming an innovation platform integrating basic research, translational research, and clinical research.
