OxTium Technology Featured Again on CCTV | Building a Fully No-Code AI Platform for Bioscience Researchers

June 2025

In an era of deep integration between AI and healthcare, an intelligent revolution for human health is unfolding. On June 6 at 21:50, the large-scale documentary-style venture capital program "Win in AI+" produced by China Central Television focused on "Future Healthcare," reporting how technology is making "cures" more precise and accessible. OxTium Technology Founder & CEO Jin Yongcheng, as an AI innovator, introduced the AI + bioscience foundational large model GeneLLM™.

Jin Yongcheng noted that OxTium's AI+ efforts are already yielding results in the medical field, for example:

  • A multi-omics intelligent model developed for diagnostic companies can predict preterm birth risk as early as three months into pregnancy.

  • A strategic partnership with Peking University First Hospital has not only validated the clinical value of GeneLLM™ but also provided new solutions for early risk assessment of gastric and colorectal cancers.

  • GeneLLM™ has shown significant potential in cancer genomics and early risk assessment of Alzheimer's disease.

  • A gene editing model built for cell therapy companies has significantly shortened the new drug development cycle.

Jin Yongcheng stated that OxTium's future goal is to build one of the top three bioscience large model foundations globally. With the large model as the core, the company is creating a one-stop bioscience research platform, BioFord™, which relies on over a hundred scientific models to provide training and inference research platforms and all-in-one machines, strongly empowering basic bioscience research.

"We are building a fully no-code artificial intelligence platform for frontline bioscience researchers." The one-stop bioscience research platform BioFord™, based on GeneLLM™, has already integrated hundreds of bioscience large models, covering basic research, medical diagnostics, drug development, biomanufacturing, breeding, environmental monitoring, and more.

BioFord platform interface

The BioFord™ platform features a user-friendly modular interface design and provides an extensible model framework for individual tasks, supporting cross-domain task adaptation and integration, greatly enhancing the model's versatility and practicality across different usage scenarios.

At the program site, OxTium Technology received high praise from Wang Jian, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of Zhejiang Lab, and founder of Alibaba Cloud. He stated that Jin Yongcheng and OxTium truly reflect the goals and spirit of "Win in AI+". "If college students use this large model for their research from their first day at school, that would be truly wonderful."

Although general AI platforms like DeepSeek have achieved cost-efficient training through underlying technologies and integration of tens of thousands of NVIDIA A100 GPUs, specialized "AI for Bioscience" large models still face severe computational bottlenecks and high cost pressures when processing multidimensional data in the bioscience field.

GeneLLM model architecture

Bioscience researchers have long faced three major pain points: high demand for computing resources, insufficient model generality, and complex and diverse data, which greatly limit and constrain bioscience research. In response, OxTium has taken the lead in deploying the lightweight multi-omics large model GeneLLM™ by addressing five aspects: lightweight architecture, dual-configuration chips, underlying algorithm optimization, expert-level data filtering, and efficient storage technology.

"OxTium is among the first companies in China dedicated to building an independent and controllable bioscience large model foundation. We aim to help China's scientific intelligence break the global landscape." Jin Yongcheng explained that OxTium will continue to provide advanced "AI for BioScience" services to bioscience companies and university researchers, including those in synthetic biology and IVD.

Chen Wei, Chairman of Oriental Fortune Capital and President of Shenzhen Venture Capital Association, believes that OxTium's bioscience AI foundation effectively fills an industry gap, calling it "a difficult but highly meaningful endeavor."

It is reported that "Win in AI+" has been simultaneously broadcast on CCTV Finance Channel (CCTV-2) and the Yangshipin new media matrix. The program focuses on scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators in multiple "AI+" fields including smart healthcare, smart cars, smart education, smart manufacturing, and personal service robots, and is hailed as the current "bellwether" of China's AI+ industry exploration.
